About The Leader, Sidney, In His Own Words
I started this group because I love exploring interesting places with fun people. In the past I only explored when on vacation in cities like New York, San Francisco, London, Paris, or Rome. After a running injury sidelined my more vigorous activities for several years, I realized I could have fun exploring Philly like I did these distance places. So, over the past several years I've been doing a lot of exploring.
In my youth I was active in many sports especially basketball. Over the past 30 years it seems that I've always been training for something, whether a half-marathon or cross country bicycle trip. Over the last 10-15 years I've led hikes and work parties for many groups. My professional background involves high school teaching and coaching for nearly 25 years.
