Any day is a great day to walk in the Chestnut Hill area. Since we had such a great walk on Xmas Eve, I'm ready to repeat this 2 hour night hike on a regular basis. Of course, I'll take a different route on each hike.

Though I've walked the area dozens, if not hundreds, of times during the day, I've rarely done it at night. And winter, with early sunsets, is a great time of the year to do it. A little snow, like on Xmas Eve, makes the area more magical. And, the Xmas lights might still be up.

If the hike is full at the moment, then just check back a day or two before the hike. People always change plans.
