Any day or night is a great day to walk in the Chestnut Hill area. Since we had such a great walk on every other night hike, I'm repeating this on a regular basis, every other week.

Though I've walked the area dozens, if not hundreds, of times during the day, I've rarely done it at night. And winter, with early sunsets, is a great time of the year to do it. A little snow, like on Xmas Eve, makes the area more magical. And, the Xmas lights might still be up. We might even find areas dark enough to see some stars!

After the walk we'll head out for a beer or something at Tavern on the Hill(right around the corner) or another local spot. All within walking distance.
