Green Lane Park is a large beautiful park that stretches around a reservoir for a gazillion miles. There are inland trails, but most of the trails go up and down and twist and turn right on the banks of the reservoir.

We will make a loop around a very beautiful area of the park that borders the reservoir. As usual, in Green Lane Park, I know where I want to go, but I'm not sure of the trails.

This is a 4-4.5 hour hike, not for folks out of shape. I'll find a great restaurant in the area and post it for those interested in dinner afterwards.

To carpool from Hill House (201 W Evergreen, 19118) meet at 1030am. Each carpooler chips in $6 at the start. Make sure to email me if you want to carpool. Here's a Google Map link to Hill House.

Make sure to bring:
• lots of water, I drink 1 liter per hour in warm weather.
• some food for hikes over 3 hours. An apple is great.
• your camera
