FOW’s next project of the Sustainable Trails Initiative is a re-route of the Yellow Trail near the Saul Agricultural School. Fairmount Park will be closing and re-vegetating the existing trail which has become a wide gully. FOW volunteers are undertaking a sustainable re-route of the trail. Please join us to learn the ins and outs of sustainable trail building!

Meet at 9 am at Pachella Field at Henry Avenue and Livezey Street, 19128. Parking is available in the lot at Pachella Field (P-10 on the FOW Map). Volunteers are encouraged to bike or carpool to the event. If you arrive late, you will find us along the Yellow Trail north of Pachella Field near the Saul School. Follow the yellow volunteer signs. It is about ½ mile hike from Pachella Field to the work site. Volunteers are encouraged to bike or carpool to the event.
