Center City Alleyways
From Reading Terminal we will head to Olde City north of Market and explore the streets and alleyways going south. We will try to stay in alleys as we pass near Independence Hall and Society Hill. Eventually we make it to the Italian Market area, then find another interesting route back to Reading Terminal.
We will walk for 2.5-3 hours at a moderate pace covering 4-7 miles.

The Reading Terminal website indicates that 2/3rds of the vendors are open till 4 pm Sunday. So, we have a great place to eat for 20 or so folks. We could go for a beer after that. I know a great round green couch I'd like to drink a beer on - Triumph Brewery.
Two days before event I usually email a weather report.

Debra F2010This meetup was great! Although I have lived in the Philadelphia area for most of my life, I don't believe I've ever taken an entire afternoon just walking around exploring our city. Not that I haven't admired countless beautiful views on my ways to and from! But, what a pleasure, not going A to B, but wandering, with an interesting and fun group of people.
