For MLK Day of Service we are heading back to Fernhill Park at Roberts and Wissahickon Aves to clean up, cut vines, and do anything else that is needed. There may be t-shirts and food for those who participate, but I can't guarantee that.
Folks will be working there from 9am to noon. Come anytime between those hours.
There are 2 entrances to the Fernhill Park parking lot, but barriers and the nearness to the intersection prevent you from making a left turn into the lot. You will probably need to make a U turn somewhere and head back on the entrance side of the street.
There are another 900 ways to donate your time for the MLK Day of Service according to the website:

David Bower, the Fairmount Park Volunteer Coordinator, will be there with tools and filet mignons for everyone. Contact him to let him know how you would like yours cooked or for questions about volunteer opportunities in the Wissahickon.
