Atlantic City Boardwalk, Beachwalk, & Subs
It's fall and time to head back down the Jersey Shore for a hike on the Atlantic City Boardwalk and beach. We start at the far north end of AC, before the boardwalk even begins. We head through AC on the boardwalk and the beach and then return via the avenue or beach depending on the weather.
For lunch we will head to one of the great sub places in AC (White House) or Margate . We may walk the beach, avenue, or boardwalk in Ocean City before heading back. We plan to be back at Hill House between 5 and 7pm. Plan to hike 8-12 miles.

To carpool from Hill House (201 W Evergreen, 19118) meet at 745am. Each carpooler chips in $12 at the start. ($15 if only one person) Make sure to email me if you want to carpool. Here's a Google Map link to Hill House.

Make sure to bring:
• Lots of water, I drink 1 liter per hour in warm weather
• Some food. An apple is great.
• Your camera
Two days before the event I will email a weather update.

Besides all the usual AC stuff we visited an Atlantic City Museum at Garden Pier, found another pier with an incredible view of beach and ocean, a hundred water fountain display, 3 beautiful restaurants, and had great subs at Dino's. And "yes", we walked the entire length of the Boardwalk from the Brigantine or Inlet end to Margate. We actually walked a lot more because we started before the Boardwalk. Sometimes we walked on the beach. -
Aileen McHugh1111I had a great time walking the entire Atlantic City Boardwalk with really interesting, friendly, and smart people on an incredibly beautiful day. Highlights were touring Caesar's Pier, Gardiner's Wharf, and the Atlantic City Boardwalk Museum; eating at Dino's Subs in Margate; and dipping our tired feet in the cold ocean.
