Friday Pizza Twilight Hike
Pizza part of hike closed to new folks, however, you can hike with us.
For those interested we are adding Pizza from Tacconelli's to this hike. Pay up to $9 max (split the bill) for what many say is the best pizza in Philly. Thin crusted, little cheese, garlicky, wonderful tomato sauce. We need salad, fruit and veggie, and wine for the pizza party. Please post what you plan to bring. We will only order pizza for those interested, so you must tell me 'yes' or 'no' by Wednesday, because Tacconelli's requires that pizzas be reserved in advance. Not sure of the exact policy till store opens on Wed evening. Empty handers chip in $4 more.
The Chestnut Hill and Wissahickon areas are about as beautiful places as you would want to visit. And you don't need to travel to Colorado or Montana or Maine. With better weather the twilight hikes in the Chestnut Hill Wissahickon should be great.
We will head around Chestnut Hill, go into the park, for a 1.5-2 hour walk and hopefully view a wonderful sunset from one of the highest places in the city. This will not be as difficult as the usual hikes in the Wissahickon.
Needless to say, we will go a different route each hike.

Kim J2010This hike and get together topped my first hike on Wednesday, and that hike was great. Hike, connecting, pizza, wine, veggies, fruit and cupcakes made for a wonderful evening! Can it get any better Sidney?
