Ventnor, Margate, Longport Shorewalk & Subs
We're heading down to the Atlantic City area again for a beach, avenue, bay, and boardwalk walk. We'll stop at Dino's Sub Shop in Margate for lunch and we will also meet there. These subs are a real treat and definite draw me to the area. Because of summer traffic this may be the last time we head down the shore till fall.
From Dino's in Margate we will head for the quiet & uncrowded beach and walk northward through Margate and Longport to the end of the island. After a 2-3 hour trek we'll be back at Dino's for lunch. After lunch we'll either drive a mile or two to the boardwalk in AC or just continue to walk the beach or explore the back bay for another 1-2 hours. Should be back in Philly by 5-6 pm.
Meet right outside Dino's at 945am. There should be many stores around to get coffee or whatever.
To carpool from Hill House (201 W Evergreen, 19118) meet at 745am. Each carpooler chips in $12 ($15 if one) at the start. Make sure to email me if you want to carpool. Here's a Google Map link to Hill House.

Bring a blanket if you want to camp out on the beach. I usually prefer to keep moving.
Warm weather hike info:
