Thursday Twilight Hike & Jazz
We head out for a 1.5 hour hike in the Chestnut Hill Wissahickon area. Afterwards join us for some company, music, and/or food and drink at my abode. Can only comfortably handle about 10 folks. Bring food and drink to share if you want to come over. Suggestions: veggies, fruit, wine. There's a nice market and a wine store nearby. Empty handers chip in $4.
The Chestnut Hill and Wissahickon areas are about as beautiful places as you would want to visit. And you don't need to travel to Colorado or Montana or Maine. With better weather the twilight hikes in the Chestnut Hill Wissahickon should be great.
We will head around Chestnut Hill, go into the park, for a 1-1.5 hour walk and hopefully view a wonderful sunset from one of the highest places in the city. This will not be as difficult as the usual hikes in the Wissahickon.
Needless to say, we will go a different route each hike.

Just take the 276 west and take the Philadelphia/Ambler exit toward Philadelphia (309 South). Then take the exit for Paper Mill Road and turn right at the light. Follow it down to the big intersection and take Bethlehem Pike (in front of you to the left). That road will take you into Chestnut Hill. I'm sure I just told you almost everything that Google Maps would have, haha.
