Bicycling on a hot day is a lot easier than walking because you make your own breeze. We're bicycling for 2-3 hours at an easy pace from Hill House towards the Art Museum. After 1-1.5 hours we will turn around, where ever we are, and head back.
We will on bike on bike trails and park trails, Forbidden Drive, for most of the way. We will rarely be on streets.
Make sure your bicycle is in working condition and can handle a dirt road.
After biking we can get a bite outside in the gardens at Top of the Hill deli.

Always good idea to bring some food, your camera, and on hot days a dry shirt that you can change into.
Warm weather hike info:
• Apply sunscreen before leaving home. See more about sunscreens under Files.
• For hikes in a park it's best to wear long sleeve shirts and long pants for protection against bugs, thorn bushes, poison ivy, etc. I'm often regretful when I don't take my own advice.
• Bring lots of water. Best to get a 3 liter hydration pack or reservoir. More about water: http://www.hikingarou...
• Only a forecast of thunderstorms and torrential rains will cancel a hike. A normal rain is no problem in warm weather.
color=orangered]If the weather is iffy I'll email a weather report a few days before the hike.. To see more about the weather visit: http://www.hikingarou...
