Tacconelli's Pizza Eat
A no-hike all-eat event at my favorite Pizza place, Tacconelli's in the Port Richmond area of Philly. The pizza is thin crust with little cheese and wonderful tomatoes or sauce. My favorite, their specialty, is the white pizza with tomatoes instead of sauce. They use italian tomatoes which taste and look just like sauce, only better. The garlic and oil on the pizza is unbeatable. The photo is NOT a Tacconelli pizza.
Normally you order pizza with one or a maximum of two toppings. Cost per plain pizza is $12. They are big, but not super big. With one topping $15. With two $18. A white pizza with tomatoes, one topping, is $15. A white pizza with tomatoes and spinach is $18-- one of my favorites. All toppings are great. Tacconelli's only serves pizza, so salads, no drinks besides soda, etc. You can bring wine and beer.
We must reserve the dough for the pizza ahead of time, not the actual type of pizza. So, you need to pay $13 to reserve at least half a pizza. This should cover drink, tax, and tip. If you want an entire Pizza then pay $5 more via this link: http://www.hikingarou...

An event fee of $3 will be collected at the event for fleas who are not annual members. Because of the RSVPing and payment arrangement there is no other way to collect or announce this fee.
We will make the reservation Wednesday morning, so you now have to Tuesday night to RSVP.
