REI Lunch Ft Washington Hike
Still getting your winter gear together? Not sure what you need? We're meeting at REI Conshohocken at 11am during their winter sale. Along with the REI sales staff, I'll let you know the best things to buy and if you are getting a good price.
Afterwards at around noon we will head over to Whole Foods Plymouth Meeting which is about 5-10 minutes away for lunch. They have an incredible buffet: the best I've seen in Philly. Meet inside near coffee and cafeteria. Google Map Link: http://local.google.c...
At around 1pm we will head over to Ft Washington State Park, about 10 minutes away, meeting at the Hawk Watch Observation Tower right off of Miliitia Rd for a 2 hour hike. Terrain is flat and easy. Google Map Link: http://local.google.c...

Always good idea to bring some food and your camera.

Djung1111-FFThis was my first hike with this group. Our fearless leader, Sidney, is patient, knowledgable and sweet. The snow was beautiful and the bare trees and the creek made for a peaceful walk. The company and conversations were enjoyable. This hike was a nice and easy re-introductio
