Receive Zero Emails
You want to receive ZERO emails and just check the calendar for events.
There are several ways to do this through Meetup or your own Mail program.
I. Through Meetup
• After you are logged in to Meetup, click on ACCOUNT at the top of any meetup page. Click on 'Email Settings' on the popup menu. Click on the the setting for one group. Change them as you like.
II. Through your email program or internet browser program
1- For your email program.
• Go to Preferences, then Rules
• Make 2 Rules:
1) Delete any email with SUBJECT "HIKING AROUND PHILLY"
2) Delete any email with SUBJECT "ExplorePhillywithSidney"
2- If you read your email in an internet browser program like Internet Explorer
• Go to the Webmail site.
• Find your Email Options or Preferences or Filters or Rules
• Best to use the above Rules if you have that option. Otherwise you must Blacklist any email address from which you do not want to receive emails. Find this on the offending emails.
Just remember that if you add my personal email address to a Rule, then you will not be able to communicate with me on any matter. Could be a problem for you if I send an email that requires a response.
To make sure an event is not cancelled or changed, make sure to check the calendar before actually attending.

Refunds are not offered for this Meetup.
